André Botelheiro

Andre Botelheiro graduated in Law from Lusíada University (Lisboa), and attended the Universitá degli Studi di Firenze (Italy) as an ERASMUS student. He later joined the postgraduate course in European Economic Criminal Law at the University of Coimbra and, more recently, the Master in Sociology at the University of Algarve. In 2001, began to practice law but was always interested in building a diversified professional path: joined the team of volunteers at Expo'98, as production assistant on the SONY Stage; coordinated teams of census in the 2001 CENSES; inaugurated the IPJ-Faro legal support office for youth associations; managed the teams of volunteers at the Media Center at Algarve Stadium during Euro'2004; chaired the Faro Commission for the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction, under the responsibility of the IDT; and advised the Rector of UAlg. Find his passion in communication and is currently coordinator of the Communication Office at Ualg, Executive Director of RUA FM radio, and finally, Chief of Staff to the Rector.
