Mirna Queiroz

Mirna Queiiroz is a journalist, editor, and cultural programmer with a master's degree in Cultural Studies from the University of São Paulo (USP). Early in her career, she worked for three Brazilian TV channels and as a stringer for BBC Radio in London while living in various countries. From 2010 to 2023, she directed Mombak Publishing, overseeing Pessoa, an award-winning magazine, and organizing literary events across Brazil, Portugal, and internationally. Now based in Lisbon, she founded the Mombak Cultural Association and organized the FesThink Festival in Almada. She is currently the Executive Director of the Kees Eijrond Foundation’s permanent representation in Portugal.
